NEW SAX QUARTETwas founded in 2000. Its members include Gordan Tudor, Nikola Fabijanić, Goran Jurković and Tomislav uak, who all graduated in saxophone from the Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Dragan Sremec. They mastered their skills at conservatories in Paris, Amsterdam and Vienna, at the Music Academy in Zagreb and at various master classes of distinguished international saxophonists. When it comes to concert activity, they dedicate special attention to presenting the music of Croatian composers and performing New Music. Nevertheless, they never neglect musical from previous periods as well. Beside artistic and performing work, quartet members are also active in teaching at musical schools in Zagreb, Split, Jastrebarsko and Samobor. They hold master classes both in Croatia and abroad.
