Musical Evenings in St Donat celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2000, thus becoming the second oldest festival in Croatia. Organizers, art directors, artists, musicologists and their faithful audience have written their impressions and comments to mark the event.
The editor Jagoda Martinčević has collected a whole range of valuable texts about the Musical Evenings during their first forty years of existence and published them as a monograph. It is a work of great importance to us, since its texts – collected and sorted patiently by Jagoda Martinčević with a great help from the festival personnel - provides the basic source of information for our web site.
